EDUCATION
Associate Student Pastor - Cross Church Pinnacle Hills - Rogers, Arkansas
February 2016 - Present
+ I love my students, my team, my church, and my God. What an incredible opportunity this has been to love and serve His Church.
College Minister - Cross Church Fayetteville - Fayetteville, Arkansas
August 2015 - February 2016
+ My heartbeat and mission is meeting one on one with college guys and get a feel for where they are spiritually. I meet them, hang out with them, get to know them, invite them to our C3 college service, and then connect them into a small group. I lead a college freshman bible study and help equip small group leaders. I have had the opportunity to speak on a Wednesday night.
Middle School Youth Intern - First Baptist Church - Benton, Arkansas
August 2014 - June 2015
+ The first semester working with the Middle School I took on more of the role of Interium. We did not have a middle school youth pastor from August through the end of December. I then interned under Clay Cunningham and Jamie Naramore for the rest of my time there. My responsiblities included setting up for Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, preaching, playing fun games, making silly videos, and investing in 6th and 7th graders from Saline County.
Student Producer - Ouachita Baptist University - Arkadelphia, Arkansas
August 2011- May 2014
+ During my first 3 years as a Student at Ouachita Baptist University, I had a work study job in the department of Mass Communications. My responsiblities included maintaining equipment, producing mutiple 30 minute studio shows, and creating news stories each month.
High School Youth Intern - Long Hollow Baptist Church
Hendersonville, Tennessee
June 2013- August 2013
+ I learned a lot about connecting with students, running and organizing a successful ministry, having energy for people to feed off of (was always the "hype man"), and the surprising influence of the freeze pop. I learned the importance of following before you lead. I appreciated the moments getting to learn from the staff/leaders instead of having to be one all the time. However, I was surprised at how much responsibility Long Hollow threw at me, from leading Bible studies twice a week to preaching on Wednesday nights. I received great experience with being in front of a lot of people; I got the privilege to speak 3 times in front of the whole group.
Camp Counselor - Kanakuk Kamps K2 - Branson, Missouri
May 2012- July 2012
+ My job was to love kids and show them that it's fun to be a follower of Christ through my words, relationships, and life. I was supposed to love, protect, serve, encourage, and challenge each kid who walked through the K2 gates.
+My main job outside of the cabin was to help with Tri-Athlete and drive boats/teach kids multiple water sports. This camp has kids ages 13-18 but I ended up having 16 year olds all summer.
